How are you spending your snow days?

Hello to my students and to our Quadblogging visitors too.  I would like to have my SAGE students leave a message (and if possible a picture) here on our wall to tell us how you have been spending your snow days.

Quadblogging friends, feel free to post some of your questions here too.

  1. Dear Boys & Girls,

I am so pleased with how well you are using Padlet. For me, this is the most exciting tool I have tried since I started our class blog. I hope you are having fun sharing your knowledge and experiences too!

  3. Dear Nomaan,

I am sorry that you never get to have snow where you live. I am studying snow leopards. They are very cool. They are mostly white in the winter when it snows. In the spring and summer they turn more yellow, gray and brown. They usually live near rocky hills and cliffs.

What animal are you studying? What do you like to do when you are at home? I like to ride my bike sometimes.

  5. Hi Tumaris,

We get snow pretty frequently during the winter, but but rarely is it heavy enough that we have to cancel school. This particular snow storm was much heavier than usual. Our students were out of school for two days the first week and then a second snow storm came through just a few days later. We were out of school for two more days. Needless to say, the children had some great snow stories to share!

I'm sure you get much more snow in Canada. Does your school district ever cancel school because of the snow? What do you like to do on snow days?
